It has been my hangout place since elementary school because it’s near my house, and it has a nice beach view,” he said.Topics :

Tim farms 1000 acres with the help of my son-in-law, Randy. They grow corn, soybeans, and wheat and have 200 head of beef cattle. Hay also keeps them busy as they bale 100 acres of alfalfa, and 3,000 acres of straw that they market year round. Dale had the chance to visit with Recker before lunch.

Matt Kibler runs the Exploring program in 13 Ohio counties for the Black Swamp Area Council.“The agricultural program is unique, because we are going to be taking students around Seneca County and neighboring counties to give them a hands-on experience in farm management,” Kibler said. “This also includes: soil and water conservation, aerial spraying or application, and the financial aspect of running a farm.”Businesses including Kalmbach Feeds, POET, Sunrise Cooperative, The Mennel Milling Company, Ag Credit, Sunrise Cooperative, Andersons, ST Genetics, and USDA Farm Service Agency are all involved in teaching these young students how to budget and manage a farm.“As northwestern Ohio has been hit with this poor weather it’s been tough for the ag business,” Kibler said. “It’s important for ag students to understand financially how a farm works.”The agriculture exploration program is hosted in Seneca County, however it is open to participants throughout northwest Ohio. Sept. 24 is this program’s first open house at the Miller farm. This program is open to students ages 14 to 20, who have completed the 8th grade. If you measure your results by activity alone, these salespeople are doing well—especially compared to their peers who are doing far less in a day.Sales managers in the past measured activity as if it were the only variable, mostly because it was the only thing they had direct control over. They could literally insist that their salespeople do more work. In many cases, this resulted in greater sales, because increased activity is always the right answer when too little activity is being taken. The problem with managing only activity is that it absolves you, the manager, of your responsibility for improving the salesperson’s performance.Outcomes > ActivityAll the activity a salesperson takes needs to generate outcomes. The outcomes are what matter, and focusing on activity alone doesn’t speak to the salesperson’s effectiveness, nor does it speak to your effectiveness as their leader, manager, coach, and trainer. If activity alone was enough to produce better sales results, then your role would be easy. The truth is, selling is more difficult now, and producing greater results requires more effort on your part. There is a certain segment of every population of worker that isn’t working hard enough to produce the results they need. There is an equally large population—maybe larger than those who lack hustle—that is taking the right amount of activity and not producing the outcomes because they need to improve their approach. More activity may produce a modest improvement in their results, but it won’t come close to the improvement possible by increasing their effectiveness.Outcomes are greater than activity. The more effective your individual salespeople are, the more outcomes they can generate with very same activity.Your Activity and Your EffectivenessIf you are going to look at a salesperson’s activity and their effectiveness in obtaining the outcomes they need, you also need to be honest enough to look at your own activity and your own effectiveness. You need to determine whether you are spending the time coaching and developing them to better generate the outcomes they need, and you need to measure yourself on the outcome of creating the salespeople your clients need from you and from your company. If you believe that your challenge in producing results is your salespeople, you are always going to have trouble producing the results you need. When you believe that other people are your problem, that belief is the root of your problems. Only your beliefs—and your activity—can change this. Essential Reading! Get my 2nd book: The Lost Art of Closing “In The Lost Art of Closing, Anthony proves that the final commitment can actually be one of the easiest parts of the sales process—if you’ve set it up properly with other commitments that have to happen long before the close. The key is to lead customers through a series of necessary steps designed to prevent a purchase stall.” Buy Now
Also, the Governor cannot summon the new Assembly without the cabinet’s recommendation, and at present there is no cabinet in the state, the former bureaucrat added. The BJP won 105 and Shiv Sena 56 seats in the 288- member House, securing a comfortable majority as an alliance.Congress and NCP won 44 and 54 seats, respectively. They have said the ball is in the Governor’s court, with NCP chief Sharad Pawar reiterating on Saturday that the mandate for them was to sit in the opposition.“BJP is not staking claim since it doesn’t have the numbers to get its Speaker elected in the first session, which will have to be called for administering oath to the newly- elected members. If the single largest party does not stake claim, it is upto the governor to invite it, and if that party refuses then he can explore options of the second-largest or third- largest party,” Mr. Kalse said.“President’s rule is the last option,” he added. Also Read The three-decade-old alliance between the BJP and its oldest ally Shiv Sena appeared to be on shaky ground on Friday as Fadnavis and Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had a bitter showdown over sharing the chief minister’s post.Congress leader and former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan told PTI that Sarkaria commission’s report lists the steps the governor is supposed to take in such a situation.“The first priority (for government formation) is given to the largest pre-poll alliance. In this case, it is the BJP and Shiv Sena. But the alliance has (virtually) broken down yesterday,” Chavan said.“Then the single largest party (gets the opportunity) provided it stakes the claim. The BJP has not staked the claim. So now a post-poll alliance can stake claim.“But Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress have to come together and submit a letter to the governor about the numbers they have,” he added.“The governor does not invite any political party or alliance on his own,” Mr. Chavan said. Many state Congress leaders including Chavan had said earlier that most of the party MLAs were not averse to backing a Sena-led government to keep the BJP out.

Chelsea boss Sarri puts Ampadu on notice: Our new Jorginho?by Paul Vegas9 months agoSend to a friendShare the loveChelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed he is considering Ethan Ampadu for a midfield role.Sarri made the revelation when discussing Jorginho’s performance for victory over Newcastle.”After 20 minutes he [Jorginho] lost a lot of balls and it is unusual,” analysed Sarri, “so I think he was in trouble. Maybe he was tired, I don’t know, but if Fabregas was on the bench I think in the second half Fabregas would have been on the pitch instead of Jorginho.”Sarri made it clear there are not many areas where the squad needs strengthening and he acknowledges Ampadu has potential to play the Jorginho way.”In the future maybe but we have to work,” he points out. “The player who plays in that position usually touches about 120 to 130 balls [a match] and so I think we need a specialist there.”The bench is not really very short. It is left short for only one position at the moment because Hudson-Odoi is improving, Hudson-Odoi in one or two months will be at the same level as the other players. I hope the same for Ampadu. Of course playing as a central midfielder in our team is not easy, we need to try and try and try in training.” About the authorPaul VegasShare the loveHave your say
