After the rankings were released, the committee’s chairman gave some color on the decision.Rob Mullens admitted that Ohio State has more talent than UCF – but he said that the Knights have the “all-around” more complete team.The Knights are currently 10-0 with two games left on their schedule – at USF and against whoever wins the AAC West in the league’s title game.Ohio State, at No. 10 right now, seemingly has an uphill battle to wind up ranked in the top four by the end of the year. But a win over No. 4 Michigan would be as good a win as any team in the country has right now.CFP chairman Rob Mullens on Central Florida being ahead of Ohio State. UCF won’t have a win to match it.The Buckeyes will take on Michigan this Saturday, and if they win, they’ll get Northwestern a week later in the Big Ten title game.Michigan, with two wins, will likely make the four-team field.
